Our privacy notice is intended to be easy to read and understand for the public as well as for our customers and business partners. A natural person is considered identifiable if they can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Data subject<\/strong><br\/>A data subject is any identified or identifiable natural person whose personal data is processed by the controller (our company).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Processing<\/strong><br\/>Processing means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Restriction of processing<\/strong><br\/>Restriction of processing means the marking of stored personal data with the aim of limiting its processing in the future.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Profiling<\/strong><br\/>Profiling means any form of automated processing of personal data consisting of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyse or predict aspects concerning that natural person\u2019s performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pseudonymisation<\/strong><br\/>Pseudonymisation means the processing of personal data in such a manner that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organisational measures to ensure that the personal data is not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Processor<\/strong><br\/>A processor is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Recipient<\/strong><br\/>A recipient is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body to which personal data is disclosed, whether a third party or not. However, public authorities which may receive personal data in the framework of a particular inquiry in accordance with Union or Member State law shall not be regarded as recipients. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Third party<\/strong><br\/>A third party is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, the controller, the processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process personal data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Consent<\/strong><br\/>Consent means any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject\u2019s wishes by which the data subject, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to them.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:4rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Legal basis for processing<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (in conjunction with Section 15(3) TMG) serves as the legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations required for the delivery of goods or the provision of any other service or consideration, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The same applies to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of enquiries about our products or services.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If our company is subject to a legal obligation that requires the processing of personal data, for example to fulfil tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In rare cases, the processing of personal data may be necessary to protect vital interests of the data subject or another natural person. This would be the case, for example, if a visitor were injured on our premises and their name, age, health insurance data or other vital information had to be passed on to a doctor, a hospital or other third parties. In that case, the processing would be based on Art. 6(1)(d) GDPR.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ultimately, processing operations may be based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This legal basis applies to processing operations that are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases, where processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not prevail. Such processing operations are permitted in particular because they were expressly mentioned by the European legislator. In this respect, the legislator took the view that a legitimate interest could be assumed if you are a customer of our company (Recital 47 sentence 2 GDPR).     <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:4rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Transfer of data to third parties<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We only disclose your personal data to third parties if:<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>you have given your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR,  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the disclosure is permissible pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data,  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>there is a legal obligation for the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1(c) GDPR, and  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>this is legally permissible and required pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1(b) GDPR for the performance of contractual relationships with you.  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To protect your data and, where applicable, enable data transfers to third countries (outside the EU\/EEA), we have concluded data processing agreements based on the European Commission\u2019s Standard Contractual Clauses.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:4rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Technology<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7.1 SSL\/TLS encryption<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This website uses SSL or TLS encryption to <strong>ensure<\/strong> the security of data processing and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders, login data or contact enquiries that you send to us as the operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that \u201chttp:\/\/\u201d in the browser\u2019s address line changes to \u201chttps:\/\/\u201d and by the lock symbol in your browser line.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use this technology to protect the data you transmit.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7.2 Data collection when visiting the website<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you use our website for informational purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server (in so-called \u201cserver log files\u201d). Each time you access a page, our website collects a series of general data and information, either by you or by an automated system. This general data and information is stored in the server\u2019s log files. The following may be recorded:   <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>browser types and versions used,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the operating system used by the accessing system,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrer),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the subpages accessed on our website via an accessing system,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the date and time of access to the website,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an Internet Protocol address (IP address),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Internet service provider of the accessing system.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When using this general data and information, we do not draw any conclusions about your person. Rather, this information is required in order to <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>deliver the content of our website correctly,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>optimise the content of our website and the advertising for it,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensure the long-term functionality of our IT systems and the technology of our website, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for prosecution in the event of a cyberattack.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We therefore evaluate this collected data and information statistically and also with the aim of increasing data protection and data security in our company, in order ultimately to ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process. The data in the server log files is stored separately from any personal data provided by a data subject. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR. Cookies<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.1 General information about cookies<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your IT system (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cookie stores information that arises in connection with the specific device used. However, this does not mean that we obtain direct knowledge of your identity. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The use of cookies serves, on the one hand, to make the use of our services more convenient for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognise that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted when you leave our website.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimise user-friendliness; these are stored on your device for a specified period of time. If you visit our website again to use our services, it is automatically recognised that you have visited us before and which entries and settings you made, so that you do not have to enter them again. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our services for you. These cookies enable us to automatically recognise, when you visit our website again, that you have visited us before. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.2 Legal basis for the use of cookies<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data processed by cookies that are required for the proper functioning of the website is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests and those of third parties pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For all other cookies, you have given your consent via our opt-in cookie banner within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:4rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Content of our website<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9.1 Contact \/ contact form<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email), personal data is collected. Which data is collected in the case of a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and\/or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, an additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted after your enquiry has been conclusively processed; this is the case when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified and provided that no statutory retention obligations conflict with this.         <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9.2 Services \/ digital goods<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We only transfer personal data to third parties if this is necessary in the context of contract processing, for example to the credit institution commissioned with payment processing.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any further transfer of data does not take place, or only if you have expressly consented to the transfer. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9.3 Blog comment function<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We offer users the opportunity to leave individual comments on individual blog posts on a blog located on our website. A blog is a portal hosted on a website, generally publicly accessible, in which one or more people, referred to as bloggers or web bloggers, post articles or write down thoughts in so-called blog posts. Blog posts can generally be commented on by third parties.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you leave a comment on the blog published on this website, in addition to the comments you leave, information about the time the comment was entered and the chosen username (pseudonym) will be stored and published. In addition, the IP address assigned by your Internet service provider (ISP) is logged. This IP address is stored for security reasons and in the event that you violate the rights of third parties or post unlawful content by submitting a comment. The storage of this personal data is therefore in our own interest, so that we can exonerate ourselves in the event of a legal violation. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This collected personal data will not be passed on to third parties unless such disclosure is required by law or serves our legal defence.      <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9.4 Application management \/ job board<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We collect and process applicants\u2019 personal data for the purpose of handling the application process. Processing may also take place electronically. This is the case in particular if an applicant submits corresponding application documents to us electronically, for example by email or via a web form on the website. If we conclude an employment contract with an applicant, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of handling the employment relationship in compliance with statutory provisions. If we do not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be automatically deleted two months after notification of the rejection decision, provided that no other legitimate interests on our part prevent deletion. Other legitimate interests in this sense include, for example, an obligation to provide evidence in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).     <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legal basis for processing your data is Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26(1) BDSG. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:4rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. Newsletter distribution<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10.1 Newsletter distribution to existing customers<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers by email for similar goods or services from our range to those you have already purchased. For this purpose, we do not need to obtain separate consent from you pursuant to Section 7(3) UWG. In this respect, data processing is carried out solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalised direct advertising pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send you emails. You are entitled to object to the use of your email address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with effect for the future by notifying the controller named at the beginning. You will only incur transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. Upon receipt of your objection, the use of your email address for advertising purposes will be discontinued immediately.         <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10.2 Promotional newsletter<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On our website, you are given the opportunity to subscribe to our company\u2019s newsletter. Which personal data is transmitted to us when ordering the newsletter is determined by the input mask used for this purpose. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We inform our customers and business partners at regular intervals by means of a newsletter about our offers. In principle, you can only receive our company\u2019s newsletter if <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>you have a valid email address, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you have registered for newsletter distribution.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For legal reasons, a confirmation email is sent to the email address you entered for newsletter distribution for the first time using the double opt-in procedure. This confirmation email serves to verify whether you, as the owner of the email address, have authorised receipt of the newsletter. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you register for the newsletter, we also store the IP address assigned by your Internet service provider (ISP) of the IT system you used at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary in order to be able to trace (possible) misuse of your email address at a later point in time and therefore serves our legal protection. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The personal data collected as part of a newsletter registration is used exclusively for sending our newsletter. In addition, newsletter subscribers may be informed by email if this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or a related registration, for example in the event of changes to the newsletter offering or changes in technical circumstances. The personal data collected as part of the newsletter service will not be passed on to third parties. You can cancel your subscription to our newsletter at any time. The consent to the storage of personal data that you have given us for newsletter distribution can be revoked at any time. For the purpose of revoking consent, each newsletter contains a corresponding link.
